Any spilages wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately preferably in the sunshine.

Do not store in plastic or cardboard.

If mould appears brush off with a brush and wipe with white vinegar diluted in water, dry immediately in sunshine.
 

Store away from sunlight especially dyed potae, this will cause the colour to fade.

If your potae is not in regular use, store it in an acid free box. Place some acid free tissue paper into the potae to hold its shape.

Store it in a dry place.

With little guidance and the right materials, your potae should last forever.
