Whiri rua are a great use in your kitchen, office or living spaces as well as a perfect gift.

Any spilages wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately preferably in the sunshine.
Do not store in plastic or cardboard.
Do not carry heavy objects it could tear or misshape your taonga.
If mould appears brush off with a brush and wipe with white vinegar diluted in water, dry immediately in sunshine.
Store away from sunlight especially dyed kete, this will cause the colour to fade.
If your whiri rua is not in regular use, store it in an acid free box. Place some acid free tissue paper into the kete to hold its shape.
Store it in a dry place.
With little guidance and the right materials, your taonga should last forever.
